Where is your audience?

Where is your audience? Who is your target market? If the audience for our comic book are 15 year old gamers on Twitch, why are you only talking to 40 year old writers on Facebook? Go to where your audience is and actually start talking to them.

Back in the day, the guy selling his mixtapes didn’t park outside the library. He parked outside the club, house party or even the record store, because that’s where he knew the music fans who would be most receptive to his music would be hanging out.

Find out where your audience is by researching keywords, hashtagsTwitterand popular searches on line. Then hang out and get to know people in that niche BEFORE you have something to sell so that when you’re ready to announce you already have an audience.
